IT systems are coping with increasing amounts of data as everyday office programmes become more sophisticated requiring more storage capacity.
Increasingly IT Managers are left with a difficult choice; to add storage capacity to their systems by purchasing more servers or to instigate draconian office processes whereby only certain information is saved and documents are kept in hard copy format.
Servers require power, cooling, networking, maintaining and managing which sets up a vicious cost cycle when capacity is again reached and a new server is purchased requiring more power, more cooling etc. If you recommend saving only necessary information and storing hard copies you risk deleting important information and your business will require more rigorous archiving of hard copies.
We at Clunk Click have designed processes that allow organisations to continue to store ever increasing amounts of data each day whilst limiting the need to purchase ever more servers.
