Clunk Click is to be renamed Risc IT Solutions from Spring 2009 – The new name is to coincide with an increase in service offerings and added benefits for resellers.

Clunk Click today announced they are moving into the second stage of their integration with Risc Group. Clunk Click which has built a reputation for unrivalled data storage solutions over the last decade was acquired by Risc Group, one of the European leaders in IT managed services in June last year. In Europe Risc Group distributes IT managed services as direct sales and indirect sales via two sectors: an SMB-Corporate sector, Risc IT Solutions (where Clunk Click will operate) and Risc Inbox which is devoted to companies with 5-50 computer workstations. Risc Group has 32 offices throughout Europe, 6 data centres including 2 in UK, 1,200 servers hosted to outsourced application, 4,500 servers remotely saved, 250 000 business computers secured and in ‘08 the organisation restored 30.5TB of data.

This agreement allows Clunk Click to offer Risc IT Solutions’ comprehensive portfolio of IT managed services in the UK. These services include hosted Exchange, application hosting, co location, SaaS, Security Products as managed services and IBM Tivoli Storage solutions. Spring 2009 will see Clunk Click changing its name to Risc IT Solutions and beginning the launch of the new services. The company also offers VOIP and networking. The last few months have seen the internal teams working together to ensure that processes were aligned for these services to have the levels of resources necessary for success.

The company which has an impressive 1,600 channel partners throughout Europe is keen to build their reseller numbers in the UK by offering the highest 'value add' support package currently available. These include proven sales technique training; high quality marketing support in the form of white label portals and branded collateral; dedicated account managers and a 24 hour UK based technical support line. All of which are proven to grow partners’ revenues.
